The Promoter is Easigas (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in terms of the South African Companies Act, 2008 as amended, under company registration number: 1981/003430/07, whose registered office is at Gate 5, Hibiscus Ave, Alrode 1451 (“the Promoter”). 

The Promotion is offered subject to the terms and conditions set out below ("Terms and Conditions") and by entering this competition, the entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

1. Who can enter? 

• Entry is only available to persons who are 18 years or older on validation of identity (ID or passport). 

• Employees, officers, and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible. 

• Only entries received via WhatsApp will be accepted. 

2. How to Enter 

• Buy / exchange an Easigas branded cylinder (any size from 9kg, 14kg, 19kg or 48 kg) at any participating retailer or reseller and obtain a till slip from the retailer or reseller.  

• Take a picture of the till slip and the purchased /exchanged Easigas cylinder showing the authentic Easigas seal and send a WhatsApp to 081 412 8664 number. Follow prompts for more information such as your name and surname, email address etc on the WhatsApp chat.   

• Promotion is only applicable for buying/exchanging of Easigas branded cylinders. Please note that Easigas also owns cylinders branded “Reatile Gaz” which are also acceptable for exchange for purposes of this competition. 

• Only 1 entry for each purchase will count and repeated entries for the same purchase slip will not be allowed. 

• The promotion runs weekly from Friday at 00:01 to Saturday at 23:59 from 8 December 2023 to 23 January 2023 (the promotion period).  

• No late entries will be accepted.  

• The promotion period ends midnight 23 January 2024 

3. Winners will receive a link via sms to register and redeem their voucher.

 Alternatively winners can also call 011 557 5700 for assistance with registration and claiming of voucher which will then be sent to the customer.

Voucher Amounts 

• Purchases of 9kg, 14kg and 19kg will qualify for a R50 voucher 

• Purchase of 48kg will qualify for a R100.00 voucher 

• All prizes are only redeemable on proof of cylinder/s having been bought/exchanged at a participating Easigas reseller or retailer 

• All prizes are subject to manufacturer’s terms and conditions for correct and safe usage and Easigas does not take responsibility for the entrant’s use of the Prize items. 

5. Notification and claiming the Prize  

• The first 3500 Winners who claim the prize will win a voucher. All entries received and verified by an independent adjudicator or panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. 

• All winners will be notified  upon winning, however prizes received after 20 December 2023 will be distributed from 8 January 2024. 

• The winner will be notified with a link to the voucher via sms, using the contact details provided by the Entrant.  

• If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize by 23 January 2024, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and redirect it to the next eligible entrant/s. 

6. General  

• The competition runs from 8 December 2022 to 23 January 2024. 

• The Promoter reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, including the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value, without notice and at any stage during the promotion. 

• The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition. 

• The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law. 

• Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special, or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion. 

• The Promoter collects claimants’/entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. By entering this competition, the entrant agrees to the collection and processing of his/her personal information for purposes of this competition. If the information requested is not provided, the claimant/entrant may not be able to participate in the promotion.  

• The Promoter will not disclose this information to anyone other than contractors who provide services to the Promoter for the purposes of conducting this promotion unless compelled or permitted by law.  

• Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to the agents facilitating this Promotion.
